Dr Zinn’s practice covers all aspects of gynaecology. Particular skills are offered in gynaecological endocrinology including fertility, contraception and menopause and in the management of chronic pelvic pain (www.capepelvicpain.co.za). The impact of pelvic pain is often under-appreciated: it is essential that all elements that affect and are affected by this condition are addressed.

Endoscopy is integral to surgery in modern gynaecology. Dr Zinn practices advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery for conditions including severe endometriosis, fertility, cysts, fibroids, uterine abnormalities, laparoscopic prolapse repair and hysterectomy. Vulval and vaginal surgery allows correction of prolapsing tissues, treatment of urinary stress incontinence, labial reduction and others. Abnormal Pap smears are managed according to the latest guidelines and further assessment and treatment carried out where indicated.

A team of specialists in all fields are close to hand where collaborative work is required to manage conditions which cross or overlap the traditional clinical boundaries.
